Great Lengths Extensions

What makes Great Lengths Extensions

better than other methods?

THE HAIR:

100% of the hair sourced for Great Lengths is from the Temples of India. This is the finest source of virgin hair available in the marketplace that is most compatible with Caucasian and European hair textures. The quality of our hair is unmatched.

THE COLORIZATION PROCESS:

The only processes performed on Great Lengths hair is our colorization process. Great Lengths is the only Company that does not use any toxic chemicals (i.e. ammonia and/or bleach derivatives) in the de-pigmentation and pigmentation process of our hair. The result is colorfast hair that has not been subjected to damaging ammonia and/or bleach chemicals to remove the hairs original color.

THE APPLICATION:

In 1992, Great Lengths International developed and patented the first pre-tipped, synthesized keratin bond polymer. The GL Synthesized Keratin Bond molecular structure is specifically designed to mimic the molecular structure of human hair. The result gives the Great Lengths bond functionality that is not available in any other hair bonding compound in the marketplace. The functionality is the Great Lengths bond has the ability to expand and contract with human hair. For example, when you wash your hair or get it wet, the hair shaft expands. When it dries it contracts. Bonds that do not possess such function will soon begin to shed the extensions and ultimately slide off the client’s natural hair completely because the bond is being stretched with no capacity to contract each time the client’s natural hair expands and contracts. This is a Great Lengths exclusive feature. The extensions are virtually impossible to detect and offer tremendous versatility.

THE STYLISTS:

Great Lengths certified stylists have attended the most intensive and effective training which has been recognized as the industry’s best in category. No other company requires or offers the in-depth education that Great Lengths does. The education and training prepares stylists for optimum service delivery to clients.

Will it damage my hair?

When applied and maintained properly, the application will not damage your hair. The skill level of the stylists is crucial for a damage free application and this is why Great Lengths Certified Stylists are the most sought after by extension clients worldwide. Great Lengths USA has the most rigid requirements for certification in the industry. Our mandatory certification course is on average 3 times longer than any other extension brand in the professional market. Further, there are only a handful of extension brands that even require education as most companies position their training as an option, but not necessary. In other cases, there are companies whose training consists of nothing more than a 20 minute how-to video or online “certification”, where the trainee has no hands-on learning experience or the eyes of a seasoned hair extension educator to evaluate their work and correct where necessary.

The key to a successful, damage free application lies in the details of the application. There is no “cookie cutter”, “one size fits all” application technique, as each client has different hair conditions and desired results that must be considered.

Great Lengths Certified Stylists are the most highly trained in the industry. There is no close second.

This is one of the reasons that Great Lengths, year after year, receives such honors as “Stylists Choice Award” and “Professionals Choice Award” from the beauty industry’s leading trade media, such as American Salon Magazine and behindthechair.com.
